Most of the couples we work with choose Vermont for their destination wedding. Sometimes it because they grew up here or went to school here, other times because they ski or vacation here, sometimes because it's a central location for friends and family–whatever the reason, Vermont's quintessential four-season offerings of diverse scenery and activities has a certain pull! And sometimes...we work with local couples who don't have to think twice about getting married close to home!
Kirstin & George are one of these local couples. George's family owns a local resort, a beautiful property that Kirstin & George call home. The couple chose The Barn at Boyden Farm for their ceremony & reception. Kirstin was clear that she wanted a neutral color palette that wouldn't compete with the beauty of the natural environment AND they wanted to elevate the interior of the barn with floral designs and draping. We loved bringing that vision to life!
If you're looking to maximize your budget, consider where you can repurpose ceremony arrangements at your reception. We moved the aisle arrangements from the pavilion into the barn for a double WOW!
